Over the last six years, Carlos has dedicated himself, professionally and academically, in order to be as prepared as possible to live his ambition of being a goalkeeper coach and an assistant as the highest level possible. He is eager to share his passion and knowledge to help develop the next generation of professional goalkeepers. Carlos earned his Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and Health from Graceland University in Iowa. He then went on to earn a dual Masters Degree in Sports and Exercise Psychology from the University of Thessaly in Greece.

His coaching certifications and licenses include Conmebol C Peruvian Futbol Federation, US Soccer C License, MBP School Professional scouting Course, MBP School Individual Fundamentals per position, and he is fluent in 3 other languages (Spanish, Greek, and Portuguese). Carlos has played for many organizations around the world, including championship teams, as a goalkeeper. He is currently the Academy Head Goalkeeper Coach at Austin Football Club (Austin FC), the first top-division Major League Soccer team in the Austin area.
