Why you'll love our Pace University Summer Program

Since 1906, Pace University has provided high-quality education with a firm base in liberal arts learning. It is a private university with two campuses – in New York City and Westchester County – and has an enrollment of almost 13,000 students.

Pace University’s campus in Lower Manhattan is an intellectual and cultural hub on the border of Tribeca and the Financial District, between South Street Seaport, Wall Street, and Broadway. With this ideal location, Pace University is the perfect setting for a pre-college program.

During our 53 years of operation, we have provided incredible summer experiences for hundreds of high school students. Summer Discovery students come from 44 states and over 70 countries. This summer, join us and create long-lasting friendships with students from all over the world.

A day in the life

Campus life at Pace University is unique, but here is a preview of what you can do on a single day here.

  • 9.00am Roll out of bed and head to breakfast on your way to class.
  • 10.00am Grab your notebook and pen (or your laptop) and don’t be late for class.
  • 12.30pm What’s one great thing about college? Long lunch breaks. Enjoy a leisurely lunch with friends, catch up on homework, or workout at the gym.
  • 2.00pm Back to class, but not always in the classroom. Some afternoons will be spent on site visits around the city to local businesses and organizations.
  • 4.00pm Your summer, your way. Sign up for the activities you want to do. Choose from shopping, museums, sports, and more.
  • 6.00pm Dinner time. Enjoy restaurants in the Financial District or choose from delicious restaurants in Chinatown, Little Italy, and more.
  • 8.00pm Movies in the park. Comedy shows. Concerts. Major league sports. You will never forget the memories you make with your friends at Pace.
  • 11.00pm Enjoy a pizza, watch a movie, or play ping pong in the lounge. After a full day, it’s nice to relax with friends.
