Our caring community at Jr. Discovery CU-Boulder

Our home on campus is Kittredge Complex, which offers breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains. You will be a part of a dynamic community of students and staff who live together in one residence hall. At Jr. Discovery Boulder everyone is welcome and everyone belongs.

Whether you’re watching a movie or working on a group project, it’s great to live with your friends. And if you have any questions, your Resident Counselor (RC) lives down the hall and is there for you 24/7.

Here's Our Set-Up:

  • Live in a double room with communal bathrooms.
  • Every air-conditioned room includes a bed, study desk, dresser, closet, and Wi-Fi.
  • Lounges, game rooms, laundry facilities, and the Jr. Discovery office are all in our residence hall.
  • We are only a short walk from the Center for Community (C4C), academic buildings, Farrand Field, and the Hill. Did we mention the Hill is one of the coolest neighborhoods in any college town?

Delicious All-You-Can-Eat Dining On Campus

Eat in the Center for Community (C4C) dining center. Enjoy 3 meals daily, and 2 on weekends, while on campus. A variety of cultural options available at 10 micro-restaurants creates a not-to-be-missed culinary experience that both educates and engages the senses. Are you a vegetarian? Do you have food allergies? Special diets are not a problem.

Your Health + Safety are our Primary Concern

Our RCs are committed to the support and supervision of Jr. Discovery students. Daily sign-ins and room checks are used for your safety. We walk you to your courses and chaperone all-group activities and trips. If you have a question, just ask your RC.

Not feeling well? Jr. Discovery staff make all medical appointments, accompany students to medical facilities, obtain prescription medications, and notify parents after medical visits. Appointments are made with Wardenburg Health Center or Boulder Community Foothills Hospital.

Discover Colorado's endless opportunities for fun

The University of Colorado Boulder is in the heart of Boulder. Located next to the Hill and near the famous Pearl Street Mall, stores like Urban Outfitters, Patagonia, and Ben & Jerry’s are just a short walk away. With several outstanding restaurants, boutiques, and concert venues, everything is conveniently located. Want to explore Boulder? Our staff will take you and your friends several times throughout the summer.
