Applied Data Science with Python

In this course, you’ll learn the building blocks of programming such as binary computation, problem-solving, algorithms, and data types such as expressions, variables, and functions. Within Python you’ll create modules to implement object-oriented design and problem-solving and begin implementing code. As you deepen your comfort with Python, you will apply your analytic skills for real-world impact. Combining principles from computer engineering, math, AI, and statistics, explore how data science can be applied to innovations in industries such as business, policy, and technology. Learning the foundations of coding with Python, you’ll explore data visualization, machine learning, and the essential concepts of data types to apply your programming knowledge to inform real-world predictions and solutions. *No prior coding experience required.
