Communications & Social Media

In this course, we will explore the foundations of communications technology to understand the various social media platforms, their unique features, and their role in modern communication. Students will learn how to leverage segmentation, targeting, positioning, branding, and market research to conceive and design effective social media campaigns that will captivate audiences, foster engagement, and build a dedicated following. We will also explore real life case studies, where businesses have effectively (and successfully) leveraged social media to build their business – and discover entrepreneurs that have found ways to build profitable enterprises around a wide range of activities – including some that might surprise you, like product unboxing, playing with toys, mixing slime, ASMR, posting food pics, and so much more. #signmeup
