This class will introduce students to the principles of economic analysis, economic institutions, and issues of economic policy. Through discussion and interactive activities, students will explore topics including recession, inflation, market fluctuations, and America's efforts to remain competitive in the global marketplace. You will also learn how the investment world has been affected by current events such as the war in Ukraine, the Covid pandemic, climate events, and technology advancements like AI and the metaverse. 

Learning Outcomes

Upon Completing this course, students will be able to:

1. Understand key economic concepts like supply and demand, inflation, and recessions, and how they impact everyday life.
