Summer Discovery Pre-College Academic Programs at UCLA

Experience an unforgettable summer of laughs, learning, and all things Los Angeles with our UCLA pre-college program with program offerings between 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 weeks for ages 14-18. Nestled in the heart of the City of Angels, this pre-college adventure is open to high school students offering them a chance to immerse themselves in a world-class education while exploring the entertainment capital of the world. Imagine stepping out of your classroom and into a city of endless possibilities – like strolling through iconic Westwood Village and chowing down on Tijuana-style Street tacos with new friends. Or bonding with buddies around a bonfire at nearby Manhattan Beach and recapping the performance you just put on in front of a live audience as part of you Acting and Auditioning Academy coursework.

Campus Life

After class, explore the iconic Westwood Village with new friends (either by foot or jumping on our private shuttle). When time permits, be sure to soak up some sun by the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center pool. Follow in the footsteps of fame with our organized trips to TCL Chinese Theater and Hollywood & Highland. Shoot some hoops at the John Wooden Sports and Recreation Center – and maybe even run into some NBA legends and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) alums while you are at it!
