Program Details

Living: Our home on campus is Callaway House. Students live in a single or double room in a suite of 4 people. Students share an in-room bathroom with just their suitemates. Each air conditioned suite has a furnished living room and eat in kitchenette. Every room includes a bed, study desk, dresser, closet, and free Wi-Fi. Rooftop pool, fitness center, TV lounges, game rooms, laundry facilities, and the Summer Discovery Office are all in our residence hall. We are located only a short walk from academic buildings, Guadalupe Street, and the Texas Union Center. Did we mention that Callaway House has a 4,600-square foot recreational lounge with billiards, foosball, video games, and a theater?

Dining: Unique to Summer Discovery is our all-inclusive meal plan. Enjoy two meals daily, while on campus in the modern Café at Callaway. Choose from daily options including pizza, sandwiches, and salad bar. On weekends, enjoy the local food scene with your dining card. Are you a vegetarian? Do you have food allergies? Special diets are not a problem.

Tuition includes: Term fees, academic and enrichment program, housing, comprehensive welcome orientation and ice-breakers, 2 meals daily while on campus, use of athletic and recreation facilities, activities and trips, transportation for included activities, college admissions presentation.

Not included: Application fee, $95 student ID/technology fee, airfare, airport transfers (available for $85 each way), course materials, course supplements, lunch and other meals eaten off campus, medical expenses, laundry, linens, blanket and pillow, and spending money.

Commuter tuition includes: Commuter students join the program Monday - Thursday for morning and afternoon courses and optional afternoon activities. Commuter students are invited to attend our Friday social activities and off campus excursions. One weekday evening of guest speakers is also included. Note: Commuter students are not permitted to attend other evening or off-campus activities and excursions.
