London living in Olympic Village

Internship students live in Unite Students Stratford One, a modern student residence in London's Olympic Village. You’ll have a single room with in-room bathroom, in a suite of 8 people. Share a kitchenette with just your suitemates. 

Central London is less than a 10 minute journey away, making it extremely convenient to navigate the city. Live like a native in the newest trendy neighborhood of London and take advantage of all it has to offer.

Delicious Dining Options at Local Cafes and Restaurants

Interns enjoy 2 meals daily during the week, and 1 meal daily on the weekends. Dining options include meals at local cafes and restaurants with their friends and counselors. Interns purchase lunch on their own in the wide variety of restaurants and cafes in the London area.

A day in the life

Every day in London is unique, but here is a preview of what a typical weekday looks like

  • 8:00am   Breakfast at Residence Hall 
  • 8:30am   Commute to your internship via public transportation
  • 9:00am   Work at your internship; Lunch on your own
  • 5:00pm   Commute back to Residence Hall; Relax a bit
  • 6:00pm   Dinner with all Discovery Internship students and staff
  • 7:00pm   Evening activities in London begin 
  • 11:00pm  Room checks

Evening workshops

The Career Development Series (for 3 Marist college credits) is a weekly series designed to provide you with the tools to be successful in your internship, broaden your understanding of the professional world, and enable you to maximize your internship experience.

Airport transfers are available to/from London’s Heathrow Airport. London interns receive a monthly unlimited Oyster card to get to/from work each day, as well as transportation throughout the 4 weeks of the program for activities sponsored by Discovery Internships.

Dates & Tuition

July 5 departure from the US, with July 6 arrival in the UK. Internships begin on July 8.

Residential tuition includes: Term fees, internship program, Career Development Series, 3 college credits from Marist College, NY, transportation to/from internship via public transportation or on foot, housing, 2 meals daily (1 on weekends), activities, trips, and excursions per catalog. 

Not included: $150 application fee, $95 student ID/technology fee, airfare, airport transfers (available for $95 each way), meals eaten off campus, medical expenses, souvenirs, and spending money. 

Commuter tuition includes: Internship program, Career Development Series, 3 college credits from Marist College, NY, and a 30-day unlimited London Tube card.
