But beyond its beauty, Haverford houses a diverse, intellectual community with over 50 academic, residential, and athletics buildings

    Take courses with world-class instructors in STEM, Social Sciences, Law & Government, Medicine, Business, and more. Our engaging, hands-on curriculum allows students to further their knowledge in their academic area(s) of interest. Outside of class, explore the on-campus arboretum with over 400 plants species, study by the duck pond and gardens, or take a trip to Philly to take in all the sites.

    After class, take a walk through the vibrant campus or connect with friends at a nearby cozy coffee shop, cafe, or restaurants. Shop the specialty shops that line the streets of Haverford Square or visit the Ardmore Farmers Market for some fresh treats.

    Program Details

    Living: Our home on campus is Barclay Hall and Jones Hall at Haverford College. In Barclay Hall, students live in single rooms with hallway bathrooms. In Jones Hall, students live in suite style configurations with 4 rooms in a suite. Each student lives in a single room, and shares a suite bathroom. Every room includes a bed, dresser, study desk, closet, AC, and free Wi-Fi. Lounges, and laundry facilities are in our residence hall and the Summer Discovery Office is close by. We are located only a short walk from the Dining Center and academic buildings.

    Dining: Unique to Summer Discovery is our all-inclusive meal plan. Enjoy three meals on week days, 2 meals on weekends, while on campus in the Dining Center (DC). Choose from daily options at the salad bar, pizza station, dessert bar, and more. Are you a vegetarian? Do you have food allergies? Special diets are not a problem.

    Tuition includes: Term fees, academic program, 3 meals daily while on campus (2 on weekends), recreational sports, activities and trips.

    Not included: Application fee, $95 student ID/technology fee, airfare, airport transfers from/to PHL only (available for $75 each way), $250 COVID Supplemental Fee, class materials, course supplements, linens, meals eaten off campus, medical expenses, laundry, souvenirs, and personal spending money.
