Our caring community at Georgetown

Our home on campus is Village C Residence Hall. You will be a part of a dynamic community of students and staff living together in one residence hall. At Jr. Discovery Georgetown everyone is welcome and everyone belongs.

Whether you’re watching a movie or playing games in the lounge, it’s great to live with your new friends. And if you have any questions, your Resident Counselor (RC) lives down the hall and is there for you 24/7.

Here’s our set up:

  • Live in a double room with private bathroom.
  • Every air-conditioned room includes a bed, study desk, closet, and wifi.
  • Lounges, game rooms, laundry facilities, and the Jr. Discovery office are all in our residence hall.
  • Live a short walk from the O’Donovan Dining Hall, academic buildings, and the Yates Field House. Did we mention that we can see the Potomac River from our windows?

Delicious all-you-can-eat dining on campus

Eat in the modern O’Donovan Dining Hall. Enjoy 3 meals daily (2 meals on weekends), while on campus. Choose from daily options at the salad bar, deli counter, pizza oven, dessert bar, and more. Vegetarian? Food Allergy? Special diets are not a problem.

Your health and safety are our primary concern

Our RCs are committed to the support and supervision of Jr. Discovery students. Daily sign-ins and room checks are used for your safety. We walk you to your workshops and chaperone all-group activities and trips. If you have a question, just ask your RC.

Not feeling well? Jr. Discovery staff make all medical appointments, accompany students to medical facilities, obtain prescription medications, and notify parents after medical visits. Appointments are made with University Health Services or the Georgetown University Medical Center.
