Career Exploration: Ideagen Future Global Leaders

The Future Global Leaders course was designed in partnership with Ideagen, whose mission is to foster cross-sector collaboration among leading companies, NGOs and public sector entities to advance the United Nation’s sustainable development efforts around the globe. The full-day course is designed to provide foundational knowledge, skills, and practical tools to address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.

As part of the Career Accelerator professional exploration program and Future Global Leaders course, you’ll have the opportunity to harness your 21st Century transferrable skills in the classroom:

Program Highlights

Instructor Highlight from 2022

Rosie Chawla has a master's degree in Conflict Resolution & Negotiation from Columbia University, a business certificate from Wharton Business School, and a bachelor's degree in Finance from Temple University. She has worked in the business field for 19 years and has varied global experiences from non-profit development to community and capacity building. Currently, she is an associate at Columbia University in New York, teaching with tenured professors and lecturers to first-year master’s students. In addition to teaching, she is an active advisor and consultant to UNESCO Center for Peace in Washington, DC and is active in various global leadership initiatives. In  2019, she was awarded as a top finalist in Shanghai by Women Professional Society for Social impact and selected to attend Business for Peace Forum in Norway both in 2018 & 2019.

Meet Ideagen Global's CEO and Co-Founder, George Sifakis

Prior to his current role as Ideagen’s Global chairman and CEO, George served as Assistant to the President of the United States and Director of the Office of Public Liaison at the White House. Having served in the administration of two US Presidents and founded Axela and Ideagen over a decade ago, George has crafted countless successful policies, strategic partnerships, global cross-sector collaborations, and grassroots and executive communications strategies. George has served in all branches of the Federal Government, including as Executive, Legislative US Senate Committee Staffer at the Committee on Small Business, and Docket Clerk at the US Attorney's Office.

As Director of Public Liaison at the White House, George was responsible for leading teams and coordinating engagement with Business Leaders, NGOs, and the public sector from across all industries and issues on behalf of the President and Administration.

George is a frequent speaker at global convenings on a myriad of topics. George is Global Chairman and CEO of Ideagen Global LLC, A Global Accelerator convening Global Leaders and CEOs from companies, NGOs, and the public sector to develop systemic solutions via catalytic collaboration to solve some of the world's most vexing issues.

George and his family, including his wife Adriana and three children, George, Alexa, and Evangelia, reside in Arlington, Virginia. George is fluent in Modern Greek and enjoys playing golf.
