Class Overview: Podcasting is a growing medium, combining the science and art of audio production with documentary storytelling. This course has students creating original narratives using the latest technologies for recording and manipulating sounds.  

Todd Thompson has been a sound engineer for over 30 years and teaching audio production classes at the University of Texas for over 10. He currently runs Dharma Bomb Studios in Austin where he has mixed films for competition at Sundance and The Austin Film Festival, in addition to producing the Aca-media podcast and numerous musical projects.
