My name is Christine Maleske, but I prefer to be called Chrissy (she/hers) . I graduated from University of Michigan with a Bachelors in Sport Management in 2014. Following graduation, I worked for Learfield Sporting Marketing's (now Learfield-IMG College) Penn State University branch and then moved to Florida, where I worked for a professional beach volleyball tour. In 2016, I moved to Germany where I completed my Master's at the German Sport University in Cologne, Germany in International Sport Development and Politics in 2018. After completing my Master's degree, I stayed in Germany and worked for the Agitos Foundation, the development arm of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). Currently, I am now in my fourth year as a PhD Candidate in Sport Management. My research interests are in the area of sustainable development, human rights, and sporting events.
