How Do Courses Work? For each campus, you may build your own schedule (1 course in the morning, 1 course in the afternoon) or choose an Academy where the courses are packaged together for you (Academy also includes Inc. Young Entrepreneurs).

The Bruin Leadership Academy takes elements from of UCLA’s nationally renowned campus sponsored leadership development program, the Bruin Leaders Project, to explore what makes leaders effective and impactful and then examines how leaders have shaped and expanded specific industries. This Academy explores the role that visionary leadership plays in some of the most successful entrepreneur endeavors, and you will examine case studies on some of the most influential entrepreneurs’ strategies, values, risks and ultimately their results. Elon Musk changed how we travel with the founding of Tesla. Peter Thiel changed how we participate in online commerce through the creation of PayPal. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs put a computer in every home. Mark Zuckerberg revolutionized how people socialize with his vision of Facebook. Learn about how leaders in technology become successful.

Who Should Take This Course? Students who would like to develop leadership skills such as deep self-awareness, negotiation skills and learning how to assert influence in the Tech Industry.
Highlights Students will be able to analyze and apply leadership theory and concepts to entrepreneurs and the problems those people face.
Courses & Academies This course is one of our Academies. Academies meet 4 or 5 times a week, both morning and afternoon, with a lunch break. Most Academies have homework, papers, presentations, and tests that are graded. Students are typically provided a Pass/No Pass grade. Students receive a Certificate of Completion from the university at the end of the program.
