This class explores what makes advertisements work and why. Students will learn the keys to effective advertising and explore the various strategies used by companies to communicate with the consumer. Students will examine topics including, promotion, public relations, marketing communications, communications theory as well as provide hands-on experience in creating advertising and media plans.
