Students learn the principles of investing and saving, including stocks and bonds. Discuss credit and investment, the difference between the NYSE and the NASDAQ, and how to deal with interest rates in an easy to understand way. Students make their own individual mock stock portfolios, and will monitor them throughout the class. Then, take your new found investing knowledge and research how to start a business of your own.
Who Should Take This Course? This course is suitable for budding entrpreneurs who want to learn the strategies and skills needed to start their own business, with emphasis on personal finance.

Courses & Academies This class is one of our Michigan courses. Courses are single classes that are taken in the morning or afternoon. Students who take our courses select two courses to take during each session. Students will select a morning and afternoon course.
