Learn the business of turning fashion ideas into products, including trend analysis, planning (material selection, cost analysis, supply chains), and the buying process. Write and present your product development proposal. Taught by UT fashion faculty and a fashion professional.
Who Should Take This Course? This course is suitable for students who want to learn about the business behind fashion.
Highlights Students get to understand the commercial drivers and learn how to make fashion into a viable business model.

Courses & Academies This class is one of our UT Austin courses. Courses are single classes that are taken in the morning or afternoon. Students who take our courses select two courses to take during the session. Students will select a morning and afternoon course. Students will receive a certificate of completion from the University of Texas at Austin.
