Forensic Science
This course introduces students to the foundations of forensic science and investigation. Students will learn the principles behind the gathering, preserving, and investigating evidence. They will examine the techniques professionals use to collect and preserve evidence from crime scenes such as fingerprints, footwear impressions, hair, fibers, biological fluids, and materials for DNA analysis. Students will be able to analyze evidence and form hypothesis that can help solve a variety of crimes.
