This course is designed to show how the development of International Relations has changed during the late 20th and 21st Centuries. It will examine the Political and Historic Relationship Between the United States and the United Kingdom. Students will examine modern relations between the United States and United Kingdom and the rest of the world. The course will cover the comparative political systems, and their recent developments. It will include studying the Marshall Plan, NATO, Nuclear developments and disarmament, Economic and Cultural relations. Students will analyze the post Cold War world, the impact of international terrorism, the Balance of power, the Global Economy and the relations between the United States and the EU.

Who Should Take This Course? This course is suitable for students who are interested in political science and have the intent to pursue a career in the field of politics.
Highlights Course includes a visit to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford. Students may pair this course with the "Introduction to Debate" course to participate in our "Politics & International Relations Academy."
Courses & Academies This Course is one of our Cambridge University classes. Courses are single classes that are taken in the morning or afternoon. Students who take Courses at Cambridge University select two Courses to take during the 2 week session. Students completing 10th, 11th, and 12th grade may choose to take this Course as an Optional College Credit Course for 2 college credits.

Supplemental Fees $395 Optional College Credit Fee available for students completing 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. Students that choose this option will receive 2 college credits.
