Looking to build your own mobile app or website? Want to learn the basics to create video games or the next great invention? This course will help you develop the basic skills necessary to make it in the world of computer science. Identify and define computer science terminology and concepts. Design and develop computer hardware and software. Analyze and identify trends in computer science. Topics will include the nature of computers, computer hardware, basic code loops and logic,structured data and digital media works and foundations of the internet. Students are required to bring their own laptop (no tablets) on the first day of class.
