Commuter Programs

Just like millions of college students commute to campus each year, so can you with our Summer Discovery Commuter Programs! Enjoy the same world-class academics and on-campus activities as our residential programs, all while getting to return to the comfort of your own home. With our commuter programs, students take two academic periods per day, participate in workshops and presentations after class, and network with like-minded peers until it’s time to go home at night.  

Commuter programs are available for both our high school and middle school programs.  

Students who live near our program locations can commute to and from campus each day, giving them more flexibility and independence than a traditional residential program. Our commuter hours are from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with two academic periods per day. Students will be challenged academically with innovative courses. 

Are you an Angeleno struggling to find a summer experience that fits your family's busy schedule? Designed with busy families in mind, our program offers even more flexibility to help ease your worries. For an additional fee of $100 per week, students can arrive as early as 8 am and stay as late as 6 pm, giving parents peace of mind knowing that their student is in a safe and enriching environment outside of regular program hours. Students will have the chance to participate in fun social activities or networking events.
