Bridging the Gap Between Summer Camp and College

Many of our students and families come to us proudly wearing the "camp kid" badge. Some have aged out of their camp programs, others simply want to try something new, and some are looking for an experience to help prepare them for college life.

We help camp kids bridge the gap between summer camp and college by helping them:

Find pathways for the future
Harness their skills and strengths to find a personal pathway for the future.
Develop life skills

CREATE LASTING MEMORIES

Our History

Summer Discovery is rooted in family. In fact, we were founded by a camp family!

In 1966, Mike and Judy Musiker sold Camp Keewanee in Parksville, NY, and ran their first of many Musiker Student Tours programs. Fast forward to the  1980s when Bob and Jimmy Musiker joined the family business, and the first Summer Discovery pre-college program began at UCLA in 1986. Two years later, Summer Discovery at Cambridge University in England was introduced, and the rest is history! Since then, we’ve forged unique university partnerships with some of the most prestigious universities across the globe.
