    Campus Life & Activities

    Summer 2021 residential program activities may look different from previous years, but we still plan to provide amazing and enriching experiences for students. 
     

    Enjoy the Cambridge campus in the heart of the British countryside along the River Cam. Stroll through famous landmarks, including castles, abbeys, palaces, and more. With its perfect blend of traditional and trendy, Cambridge students have access to modern amenities and old-world charm in the coffee shops, restaurants, cafes, and shops.

    After class, tour stunning cathedrals, see Monet’s great works, shop the historic Market Square boutiques, or relax in Parker’s Piece Park. Connect with friends over a game of frisbee or Rock n’ Bowl the night away. There’s something for everyone in Cambridge.

    Program Details

    Living: Our home on campus is Orchard Court Residence Hall at Murray Edwards College. Students live in a single, double, or triple room with communal hallway bathrooms. Every room includes a bed, study desk, closet, sink, and free Wi-Fi. Lounges, game rooms, laundry facilities, and the Summer Discovery Office are all in our residence hall. We are located only a short walk from the Dome Dining Hall, academic buildings, and the city center of Cambridge.

    Dining: Unique to Summer Discovery is our all-inclusive meal plan. Enjoy two meals daily, while on campus in the modern Dome Dining Hall. Choose from daily options at the salad bar, pasta counter, dessert bar, and more. Are you a vegetarian? Do you have food allergies? Special diets are not a problem.

    Tuition includes: Term fees, academic program, 2 meals daily while on campus (1 on weekends), recreation privileges, activities and trips, blanket and pillow, and linens.

    Not included: Application fee, $95 student ID/technology fee, airfare, airport transfers from/to LHR only (available for $95 each way), class materials, course supplements, lunch, meals eaten off campus, medical expenses, laundry, souvenirs, and personal spending money.
