What a Great Two Weeks!

What a Great Two Weeks!

Dear Students, Families, and Friends:

What a week it’s been! Time is flying by and students are getting into the flow of their classes, internships and schedules. We are going to miss our two-week campers so much, but we are grateful for the time spent together and the memories we’ve made in the last two weeks!

On Tuesday night, students heard a presentation from Casey Near of College Wise. Throughout the presentation, students received some helpful tips and information about the college admissions process. After the presentation, a group of students participated in Trivia Night, where they answered questions related to pop culture, music, geography and history. Congratulations to our Trivia winners, Sarah Bartos and Colton Brugger!

On Wednesday night, renowned magician John Duke Logan gave a special performance and presentation for our students here on Emerson’s campus in the Walker Building!

After internships and classes Thursday, students headed to the Apex Entertainment Center, where they had fun bowling, riding bumper cars, playing laser tag and participating in more exciting activities together!

On Friday night, a group of students headed to a viewing of “Spiderman” at a local movie theater!

We look forward to the next two weeks and greeting new students on Sunday, and will miss our first-session campers very much!

Stay tuned for more updates,

The Summer Discovery Team
