Summer Discovery at UT Austin was sizzling hot with exciting classes in Medicine, Law, and Engineering, to name a few.
In the UT Austin Medicine Academy, students learned triage in an Emergency Room simulator, learned how to take vital signs, and got their CPR/First Aid Certifications. In the Sports Medicine track, they learned how to diagnose and treat sports injuries.
Law students had their mock trials, playing all sides of the courtroom while the Engineering students designed, built, and launched real drones right on campus!
In the Internet of Things Academy, students learned all about Raspberry Pi’s (and not the fruit-filled kind).
There was also a ton of fun to be had in the Texas Longhorns Stadium and especially at Six Flags Fiesta Park.
What’s your plan for next summer?
Stay tuned for reports from more campuses…
