Wharton Global Youth High School Programs offer a wide variety of opportunities to accommodate different academic interests, as well as on-campus and online program options. Each program is taught by faculty and instructional staff of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, which gives students a true real-world learning experience. For Summer 2021, Wharton Global Youth High School Programs is offering seven on campus program opportunities: Essentials of Finance, Essentials of Entrepreneurship, Data Science Academy, Leadership in the Business World, Management and Technology Summer Institute (M&TSI), Sports Business Academy and Moneyball Academy. For Summer 2021, Wharton Global Youth High School Programs is offering two online programs: The Future of the Business World and Moneyball Academy: Training Camp.
Outside of the classroom, residential program students will experience everything from soaking up the sun and relaxing with friends at Spruce Street Harbor Park, to testing skills at detecting counterfeit bills at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, to racing up the Rocky Stepsoutside the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Inside the classroom students will learn from the expertise of Wharton instructors, as well as gain hands-on experience with interactive business simulations and real-world case studies. Online program students will experience the same academic rigor and interactive activities within the virtual classroom, and will supplement their coursework with the exclusive Wharton Global YouthMeetup (GYM) virtual community.Spending your summer with one of the Wharton Global Youth High School Programs will be sure to guarantee you one of the best summers of your life.

Philadelphia is considered the “birthplace of America.” In Philadelphia, you are sure to find many historical places to visit, some on your own and others on some of our daily evening activities. Philadelphia is home to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Eastern State Penitentiary, Congress Hall, and The Philadelphia Museum of Art. These are just a few of the many historical sites to see when spending time in Philadelphia!
Philly Cheesesteaks. Need we say more? Philadelphia is home to a wide variety of different food cuisines and most notably the iconic Philly Cheesesteak. Some of our staff’s favorite places to eat during the summer are Abner’s Cheesesteaks, Federal Donuts, Insomnia Cookies, Philly Pretzel Factory, Poke-Man, Greek Lady, Saxby’s, Dim Sum Garden, and lots of food trucks. Our staff’s biggest tip regarding food is to keep your eye out for “Dining Days,” when several restaurants in Philly offer up specialtymenus and great deals!
