The Cambridge Underground July 24, 2019

Classes were in full swing today, including a field trip to the Classics Faculty Casts Collection for the Arts & Architecture class.

Despite the heat (34° C / 93° F), students participated in afternoon and evening activities.  Some students went to the Glassworks Gym to workout, while another group visited The Orchard in Grantchester for tea and scones.  Still another group visited the historic Kings College Chapel.

The evening found many students going into town to further explore Cambridge Center.  A small group went to see Shakespeare's A Winter's Tale in the gardens of Downing College, while another group went to Kelsey Kerridge to play indoor soccer.

The students were surprised at sign-in as they were greeted with ice cream and popsicles to help them cool down on this warm summer night.
