After a good night's sleep, the students were ready to meet their tutors and start their classes. From Art & Architecture to Genetics, from International Relations to British Spy--there is a class for everyone. After lunch, students met their afternoon tutors and enjoy classes that include Debate, Entrepreneurship, and Digital Film Making.
Once classes were done, students met in Orchard Court for some more ice breakers. Then it was off for a tour of the home area in Cambridge with their RC groups. Later in the afternoon, the RC groups participated in Market Madness. Each student was given a pound, and they had 15 minutes to find the most intriguing item in the open air market. Congratulations to Marquita's RC group for their win!
After dinner in the Dome (the college's dining hall), students participated in some more bonding activities. Then it was off to the Quayside to partake in punting. Students got to try first-hand at this quintessential Cambridge activity. Some students got the knack of punting right away and made their way past the Backs of the colleges, while others had a bit of a learning curve and didn't quite make it that far. But all agree it was a great time!
