The Cambridge Underground July 15, 2019

Another fun-filled day for the Cambridge students.  Half of the group boarded the bus at 8:45 am to set off to Dover Castle and to walk the White Cliffs of Dover.  Students were astounded of the beauty of the cliffs and the beautiful hue of the ocean.

Meanwhile, the other half of the students ventured into London.  The first stop was the Tower of London, and many took the opportunity to have their picture taken with the famous Queen's Guards. Then they visited Covent Garden where they had time to shop and grab a bite to eat.  The afternoon offered a split excursion--some continued their shopping at the world-famous Harrod's Department Store, while a smaller group visited the British Museum.

To round out the first week, students were surprised with a pizza sign-in!  They were thankful for the snack as they settled back into their academic mode!
