It’s hard to believe we are almost done with our third week here at University of San Diego! Throughout the week our students have worked countless hours preparing for presentations and completing projects. Outside of the classroom, our students have had many opportunities to enjoy their last week here. On Monday, students began their last week of classes. After class, students were able to make their own BOBA or participate in a game of Flag Football. Later, we all gathered for a trip to UTC Mall. Once returning to campus, we hosted a Movie Night and an RC Panel where students were able to ask questions to all the RC's about college life.
After class on Tuesday, we hosted a DIY Lemonade event, Tie Dye Tuesday, and a game of Two Hand Touch Football. We then traveled to Coronado for a fun evening of shopping, eating out, and gorgeous photo opportunities and to Belmont Park. After returning to campus, we hosted another RC Panel, Dance Classes, and a Thank You Letter writing event.
Yesterday, we hosted Song Bingo and Two Hand Touch Football after class. We also offered our students a trip to Fashion Valley and Old Town. After returning to campus, we hosted an Ice Cream Social, Managing Stress Through Art event, a Murder Mystery and a RC Meeting.
Today is our last night on campus with our students. We will be spending our final night together with an End of Program Celebration and a trip to Dave and Busters. This is where students and staff will get together and celebrate the fun we had on campus these past few weeks and students will get to spend their final moments celebrating friendships that will last a lifetime!
As we head into our final night together, it’s hard to believe that our students will be heading home and parting ways. Our 3.2 and 6-week LA Extension group will head to Los Angeles. We look forward to our final night with our students. As always, thank you for reading and stay tuned for one special blog to come!
