The final weekend for our 3.2 and 6-week students is in the books, and what a weekend it was! On Friday, we started the day by giving the options to participate in Extreme PB&J, play a friendly game of Basketball, or head to the Fitness Club. After lunch, we hosted a Water Balloon Fight, a friendly game of Football, or allowed students to show their crafty or not so crafty sides at Atrocious Art. Later we had a game of Soccer, a Ping Pong Match, and a variety of other yard games for students to choose from. After dinner, students had a relaxing evening and were able to join us for Board Games, Musical Chairs, Kahoot, and Fireworks.
On Saturday, students got a chance to sleep in a little late before loading the buses for our all-group trip to Coronado. We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of swimming, games, and relaxation. In the evening, we enjoyed some Arts & Crafts, Baking Lessons, and a Murder Mystery.
Sunday offered a wide spread of activities for students, but also gave the option to stay on campus to relax, study, and prepare for the week ahead. We offered chances for students to attend the San Diego Padres Game and the San Diego Zoo. Our students really had a great time at the San Diego Padres Game cheering our team on and watching them beat the Colorado Rockies, 8-1. We capped off the night with a Conflict Resolution Training and an RC Meeting.
Sadly, this week will be our last week on campus this summer. We have a busy week ahead filled with classes and plenty of activities. Some activities we will be doing this week will be a trip to the UTC Mall, a Murder Mystery, Tie Dye, and trips to Belmont Park, Coronado, Fashion Valley, and Old Town. We can’t wait to make the most of this week and we will certainly be posting updates and pictures along the way! Thanks for reading!
