This past weekend was the final weekend for our 3-Week Session 1 students and what a weekend it was! Our Friday started with our Hall of Heroes and Flea Market Swap Meet or the option to go to the fitness club. We then all gathered for a trip to La Jolla Shores. After a fun day at La Jolla Shores, we ended our night with a Murder Mystery, Writing Letters Home, a Music Club, and a Movie Night.
Saturday started with an exciting game of Minute to Win It. We then gave students the opportunity to go to the San Diego Zoo, go shopping at Gas Lamp, and attend the San Diego Padres Game. Students had a great time visiting the famous San Diego Zoo and watching a great game played by the Padres!
On Sunday, students were given the option to attend the San Diego Pride March, visit La Jolla Shores for a beach day, or explore Little Italy for some shopping and good food! When we got back to campus, we hosted a fun game of No Stress Chess, Book Club, an informative session of Managing Stress through Arts and Crafts, and an International Movie Night.
Sadly, this week will be our last few days with our 3-Week Session 1 students. We have a busy week ahead filled with classes, where students will be finishing final projects and studying for final exams. That doesn't mean our fun will stop, as we have plenty of fun activities scheduled for this week. This week's activities include a trip to UTC Mall, traveling to Ocean Beach, and visiting Fashion Valley or Old Town. We can’t wait to make the most of this week and we will certainly be posting updates and pictures along the way! Thanks for reading!
