Summer Discovery in Michigan is gearing up for an amazing weekend after a productive few day of classes! This week our students had the opportunity to interact with each another and their professors both in and outside of the classroom. Every day after classes, students had the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of fun activities.
On Monday, students had the option to go to the YMCA to participate in a variety of different activities or go on a shopping tour of the home area. For those who wanted to eat dinner out in town, students got to experience the infamous Zingerman’s Deli, or they were able to go to dinner around town and experience some local favorites here in Ann Arbor. Their night ended with students having the option to go to Huron Ballroom, take a stroll to Insomnia Cookies for a late-night snack, or watch the Clipper's versus the Suns.
On Tuesday, students had the option to go the YMCA again, go berry picking at Spicer Farm, or Kraft with RC Katie and write a postcard home. For dinner, students were able to experience South University, which has a lot of dinner options and some local favorites. Finally, we wrapped up our Tuesday night with Karaoke or a yummy treat at Blank Slate Ice Cream.
