It’s hard to believe we are almost done with our second week here at Haverford College! Throughout the week our students have worked countless hours preparing for final presentations and completing final projects. Outside of the classroom, our students have had many opportunities to enjoy their last week here.
On Monday, students had the opportunity to cool off while playing with Water Balloons. Students then got to show their artistic side and play with Sidewalk Chalk or show their competitive side in a pickup Basketball Game. After dinner students had the option to participate in a Boot Camp Workout, participate in a game of Spikeball, test their Pop Culture knowledge at Trivia, and play a game of Manhunt.
On Tuesday, students had the option to participate in a CrossFit Boot Camp or travel to Suburban Square to go shopping and eat at some local restaurants. Students also had the option to participate in a game of Volleyball and Human Foosball. After dinner, students were able to participate in Glow Night event or relax while creating some Embroidery.
On Wednesday, students had the option to play Card Games and Kickball after class. After dinner students had the opportunity to create Sand Art, participate in Boot Camp, play a game of Ultimate Werewolf, or watch the NBA Finals.
Today we will end our busy week with a trip to the "City of Brotherly Love.” We are excited to be able to give our students the opportunity to explore Philadelphia and enjoy their last few nights together on campus with new friends.
As we head into our final night together, it’s hard to believe that our 2.1 students will be heading home and parting ways. Our 4-week students will get to have a fun weekend with some exciting activities, as we prepare our campus for the arrival of our 2.2 students. We look forward to our final night with our 2.1 students and are excited to welcome back our 4 week and 2.2 students. As always, thank you for reading and stay tuned for one special blog to come for our 2.1 students!
