It’s hard to believe we are almost done with our second week here at Concordia University! Throughout the week our students have worked countless hours preparing for presentations and completing projects. Outside of the classroom, our students have had many opportunities to enjoy their last week here.
After class on Monday, students were able to go to the Fitness Center to workout, participate in a friendly Kickball game, take a trip to Starbucks, or Paint a Rock with Positivity. Later, students will be able to play Basketball at one of our indoor basketball courts. Finally, we will end the night with a trip to Boomers Park for some fun activities with friends.
On Tuesday, students were able to go get a workout in at Concordia University's Fitness Center. We also encouraged students to start getting organized and ready to go home, so that do not feel pressured at the end of the week and can truly enjoy their final nights on campus. We also hosted a Tie Dye Tuesday program and fun games of Cornhole, Volleyball, and Basketball. After dinner, we gathered for an all-group trip to Galaxy Bowling.
On Wednesday, students were able to go workout after class, take a walk-through Regional Park, or go to Starbucks for an afternoon treat. After dinner we hosted a game of Disc Golf, Spa Night, and a fun game of Bingo Bash. The students really enjoyed a relaxing evening before their final day of classes and our final night activity.
After our final day classes, students can spend time at the Fitness Center or clean and pack their rooms before our final night activity! Today for our final night, we will be taking our students to Round One. Students will be able to spend final moments with their new friends and looking back on the time we had together on campus. We know there will be many smiles, laughs and good memories had by all. Once we return to campus, we will be having a final campus slideshow, showcasing all the wonderful memories we have had these past 2 weeks.
As we head into our final night together, it’s hard to believe that our students will be heading home and parting ways. We look forward to our final night with our students. As always, thank you for reading and stay tuned for one special blog to come for our students!
