Summer Discovery Concordia: A Very Fond Farewell

It is hard to believe that our time here in Irvine has already passed us by. Our students and staff have had an amazing time in and out of the classroom and it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to so many new friends.

This week has been just as enjoyable as the last, but the emotions of looking to the future and not being at Concordia University has already started to bring sadness as students get ready to depart. Throughout the week our students have worked countless hours to finalize their final presentations and complete final projects. The final evening was filled with fun as we relived our fondest memories through the SD Concordia University slide show. We finished of the night and program with a trip to Round One for final good-byes, fun and games.

All in all, these past 2 weeks have brought strangers to fun and laughter and ultimately friendships that will last longer than the time spent here. We will cherish the memories and photos from the past few weeks and remember all the fun and learning this amazing experience brought.

I bid you all a very fond farewell, it has been a time for the ages!
