SPRING IS HERE AT SUMMER DISCOVERY: Update #2

SPRING IS HERE AT SUMMER DISCOVERY: Update #2

Spring has sprung at Summer Discovery and our Campus Managers are springing into action to make your summer experience the best ever! New, exciting activities and excursions will keep you busy morning till night.

The news from our Cambridge University Campus Manager, Megan, is jolly good!  You’ll get a good workout while “Punting on the River Cam”, as you guide a traditional, flat-bottom boat down this historic river.

If you have a strong stomach, the Ghost Tour of Cambridge takes you on a walk of horrors through the haunted streets and houses to “Hangman’s House” and the final resting place of Oliver Cromwell’s head.

Relax at afternoon tea at “The Orchard,” near our Cambridge University campus for a one-of-a-kind experience. Sip freshly brewed tea from china tea cups, while nibbling on traditional scones with clotted cream and jam, all surrounded by a shady apple orchard. Your friends will be so envious when they see your photos.

Speaking of photos….the word from Jared, our University of Pennsylvania Campus Manager, is get your camera ready for a trip to Magic Gardens in Philadelphia. Magic Gardens is a mosaic visionary art space, gallery and community garden that is Instagram-ready and waiting for you to pose and post. You have to see it to believe it.

Strange medical oddities are on display at the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia, also on our calendar of activities….if you have the stomach for it!

Believe this: Summer Discovery promises an unforgettable summer experience. More Spring news to come….stay tuned for more campus updates!
