Week 2 at CU Boulder proved to be a great time! Students really dove into their courses and research during the day and had plenty of activities to pick from in the afternoons and evenings. Monday’s trip to the 29th Street Mall was followed by a Henna tattoo artist and tons of fun games in Andrews Hall. While students let the tie-dye dry on Tuesday, they were able to go bowling at The Connection on campus or explore Pearl Street. One of our largest sign-up events of the summer was on Wednesday night when half of our students went to the Colorado Rockies game. The Rockies beat the Arizona Diamondbacks in a wild game with a score of 19-2! A group of students also went to the Mary Rippon Outdoor Theater on campus to see an amazing Shakespeare Festival production of Cyrano de Bergerac.
Tonight wraped up our week day events with three different options. There was a scenic sunset hike at Chautauqua, a trip to the Pearl St. Escape Room, and a planetarium show featuring Black Holes. Our weekend starts with a movie night on Friday and will be filled with fun at Breckenridge on Saturday and Elitch Garden on Sunday. Can’t wait to tell you all about it Sunday night!
