As we celebrate the holiday season, we turn our thoughts to those less fortunate in our community. New York Cares has been offering much-needed services to homeless families and individuals since 1987. Their annual coat drive provides warm coats for thousands of New Yorkers to help survive the winter season.
This December, Summer Discovery staff collected and donated over a dozen coats to help the effort and provide some relief to those in need.
