We had a great weekend here at Penn Summer Discovery!!
It all started with karaoke on Friday where students had the opportunity to show some hidden talents and have fun singing with friends. Then, on Saturday, the students visited the chocolate capital, Hershey Park! It was a perfect summer day filled with fun rides, sweet treats, and memories to last a lifetime.
The fun didn’t stop there! On Sunday, the students had a plethora of activities to choose from. Some students had the opportunity to visit the historic Liberty Bell and Independence Hall while others explored the iconic, walkable mosaics at Magic Gardens. Students also had the opportunity to go ice skating at the same rink used by the Philadelphia Flyers for practice sessions and training camps! Other students visited the largest mall in America, King of Prussia Mall, for some window shopping and bargain hunting.
Tonight, the students attended the Phillies v. Dodgers baseball game to kick off another great week! This week the students will have even more activities to choose from including Eastern State Penitentiary, mini golf, and another chance to take a Philly Bus Tour. Students will also have a Summer Discovery exclusive audience with the UPenn dean of admissions on Thursday! The students are sure to learn a lot and have another great week here at UPenn Summer Discovery.
