Over the weekend more than 50 students attending the Summer Discovery program at University of Michigan piled onto school buses and headed to Cedar Point, an exciting safari and amusement park. Students rode on fast flying rollercoasters such as Maverick, Raptor, and Millennium Force. For those not so adventurous, they went on the calming water rides, such as Lazy River and the Snake Falls ride. Students were able to cool off after a long day soaking up the sun. Cedar Point also offered a wide range choices, for all the foodies on the trips. From funnel cakes, to snow cones, to pretzels, and Nathan's, Cedar Point had it all. Finally, after the thrills of the park, students settled down and toured the on-site safari. Here, students were able to see-and touch-many wild animals such as polar bears, giraffes, alpacas, and lemurs.
