It's our last week here at Penn Summer Discovery and we are making every second count! This past weekend, we offered three exciting trips for the students. On Saturday, the Penn Prep B Students along with a portion of the Pre-College Students took a trip to Hershey Park for thrilling rides, water park fun, and, of course, lots of chocolate treats!
Today, the students had a choice between one of two trips. A portion of the students selected to go to King of Prussia Mall, one of the largest malls in the country for some exploring and retail therapy. Another group of students and staff took a trip to New York City, giving many of our students a chance to explore one of the most iconic cities in the country. The staff organized student excursions to Central Park, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Top of the Rock Observatory, ensuring that students got the most of their time as possible.
There is still much fun to be had in our final week at UPenn! This week, the students will have more opportunities to go off campus including a trip to the local bowling alley, mini golf, and even a ghost tour in Old City! Additionally, the students will be able to take part in study breaks including snacks from Philadelphia Pretzel Factory and Insomnia Cookies! Preparations have already begun for our final night with our students and they are hard at work preparing for their finals, but there are still many memories to make before the end of the summer.
