Dear Students, Families, and Friends:
After a busy first few days here at the beautiful Emerson College campus in Boston, we are all getting settled into classes, internships and our routines!
We’ve already enjoyed getting to know all of our students, and are very excited for a fabulous, fun and exciting summer.
On Sunday, we had an orientation, where we met all of our staff members and went over the details of how everything will run over the next four weeks. Academy students got a walking tour of our home area near campus, while internship students were accompanied by our resident counselors to practice their internship commutes on the T for Monday!
On Monday, academy students had their first day of their Advertising/Marketing classes here on campus in the Walker Building. Internship students were all dressed up as they headed to their first day of their new internships, looking ready to work!
After students got back to campus after classes and internships, the group headed to J.P. Lick’s on Charles Street for some delicious ice cream and a walk through Boston Common.
Students learned tips for goal setting and got to know one another at College Wise tonight, and we are looking forward to all of the fun activities we have planned for the rest of the week, such as a trip to Dave & Buster’s! On July 4th, we’re going to Treetop Adventure for a day of fun outdoor activities, food trucks and fireworks!
