END OF SUMMER PROGRAMS @ SUMMER DISCOVERY (Part one)

Summer Discovery has just ended another successful summer, our 53rd, with hundreds of happy students from all over the U.S. and all over the world! Our 14 university campuses were buzzing with enriching classes, exciting activities, and fun for everyone!

At CU Boulder, the students had a fantastic time at the Rec Center. They played basketball, volleyball, badminton, indoor soccer, and used the weight/cardio equipment, and last, but certainly not least, ice skating! Summer Discovery students loved ice skating and even students who had never skated before were into it. The Rec Center had special ‘walkers’ that students could lean on if they were having trouble balancing on the ice. In no time at all, everyone was skating and having a ball.

Meanwhile, at our University of Michigan campus, students proudly wore their “Michigan Family” t-shirts on campus and posed for photos. One of the many highlights of the Michigan program was the trip to Cedar Point where they got to ride the new Steel Vengeance roller coaster, soak up the water rides, and tour the wild safari!

Stay tuned for more Summer Discovery 2018 highlights as we report from our other campuses.
