It is hard to believe that our time here in Georgetown has already passed us by. Our students and staff have had an amazing time in and out of the classroom and it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to so many new friends.
This week has been just as enjoyable as the last, but the emotions of looking to the future and not being at Georgetown University has already started to bring sadness as students get ready to depart. Throughout the week our students have worked countless hours to finalize their presentations, completed projects and finished off their classes. The final evening was filled with fun as we relived our fondest memories through the Junior Discovery Georgetown slide show. We finished of the night and program roller skating at Skate n Fun with our new found friends.
All in all, this summer has brought strangers to fun and laughter and ultimately friendships that will last longer than the time spent here. We will cherish the memories and photos from the past few weeks and remember all the fun and learning this amazing experience brought.
I bid you all a very fond farewell, it has been a time for the ages!
