Special pick up/orientation for late arrivals

Tuition includes: Term fees, academic and enrichment program, use of facilities, housing, 3 meals daily while on campus (2 meals on weekends), recreation access, activities, trips and excursions per catalog, blanket and pillow, and sheets and towel with weekly linen exchange.

Not included: Airfare, airport transfers (Available for $40 each way), books and classroom materials, course supplements, $400 for 1 college credit class or $800 for two (6 week program only), meals eaten off campus, medical expenses, laundry, souvenirs, and personal spending money ($100-$150 per week suggested).

Around the Campus, Around the Town  The UCLA campus is adjacent to Westwood Village, one of America’s best college towns. The village of 30,000 boasts 50 restaurants, ice-cream and yogurt cafes galore, and lots of movie theatres. Westwood has essentially replaced Hollywood for prominent movie openings and celebrity sightings. In addition, the entertainment capital of the world is at our doorstep, with the best in concerts, theater, museums, theme parks, and television and movie studios. UCLA is also close to a myriad of outdoor pursuits including America’s greatest beaches, Santa Monica Mountains, and the best in boogie-boarding and surfing.

Weekend Road Trips

Enjoy one of California’s most scenic oceanfront locations. In Santa Barbara we will visit the remarkable oceanfront UCSB campus and Santa Barbara’s famous Downtown State Street.

Sunset Bonfire & S’mores

It’s our farewell Pacific Ocean beach party as we toast marshmallows, make s’mores and watch our final sunset, California style.

Note: Students who do not sign up for the optional excursions are provided a full weekend program of activities and excursions in the Los Angeles area at no additional charge.

Viva Las Vegas Weekend (3 days / 2 nights - 6 week program only)

Our deluxe chartered motor coach departs from campus to the city of million lights. We"ll see the dancing fountains at the Bellagio, the canals at The Venetian, and catch the volcanic explosion at the Mirage. We check out M&M Chocolate World, enjoy the outrageous Blue Man Group show at the Venetian Hotel and top it off with thrills on the New York, New York Manhattan Express or Buffalo Bill's Desperado roller coaster.

Fee: $650  Includes all activities and admissions per itinerary, Meals, motor coach transportation, and air conditioned residence hall accommodations with semi-private bathrooms.

  • By attending the Las Vegas weekend, students miss a trip to either Six Flags Magic Mountain or Santa Barbara
