  • 5 Weeks 6/25 - 7/29 $7,999 Pre-College Program
  • 3 Weeks 6/25 - 7/14 $6,199 Pre-College Program
  • 2 Weeks 7/16 - 7/29 $4,299 Pre-College Program

Open to students completing grades 9,10,11 & 12.

Tuition includes: Term fees, academic program, use of facilities, housing, 3 meals daily while on campus (1 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday), recreation access, activities and trips, blanket and pillow.

Not included: Application fee, $70 student ID/technology fee, airfare, airport transfers (available for $75 each way), class materials, course supplements, meals eaten off campus, medical expenses, laundry, linens, souvenirs, and personal spending money.

We make every effort to keep class information accurate. However, changes in class availability and schedules can occur. We reserve the right to limit enrollment and/or cancel any class due to overwhelming or insufficient enrollment.

Choose the classes that interest you

As a high school student, you may not have much say in the classes you take during the year. The summer is your chance to explore what really interests you. 

Choose from over 40 different classes in a wide range of subjects. Most students take 2 classes per session. If you stay for 5 weeks, you can take up to 4 different classes. Enrichment classes,or full-day Institutes the choice is yours.

Non-credit enrichment classes at Michigan

These non-credit classes are taught by University of Michigan professors, graduate teaching instructors, professional artists, and top secondary school teachers. Class sizes average between 6-18 students.

All classes meet during the 3 and 2 week sessions, unless specifically noted. 3 week session classes meet Monday-Thursday and 2 week session classes meet Monday-Friday. Classes meet for 1½ to 2 hours.

Most classes have homework, projects, and/or tests. You will receive a written evaluation for each class and a Summer Discovery “Certificate of Achievement” upon successful completion of the program.
