Tuition includes: Term fees, full Spanish language immersion academic and enrichment program, housing, 2 meals daily while on campus and in Madrid/ Barcelona, activities, trips and excursions per catalog, blanket and pillow, sheets and towel with weekly linen exchange.

Not included: Airfare, airport transfers (available for $60 each way), books and classroom materials, course supplements, $395 fee for optional college credit, lunches and other meals eaten off campus, medical expenses, laundry, souvenirs, and personal spending money (approximately $125-$150 per week suggested).

 

 

 

Spain - Curriculum & Courses

  • TopBasic (Beginner) Spanish
    • This course is designed for those students who are interested in studying Spanish for the first time. By the end of the course, students will be able to form some of the basic structures in Spanish and will have a basic knowledge of the Spanish culture and society.
  • TopElementary Spanish
    • This course is designed for those students who already have a previous knowledge of some of the basic structures in Spanish. By the end of the program, students will have increased their level of grammar and vocabulary so they can express themselves functionally in the context of the subject of conversation. They will also have a greater awareness of Spanish culture and society.
  • TopIntermediate I & II
    • This course is designed for students having general command of the more complex structures in the Spanish language and a good vocabulary base. By the end of the course, students will be able to use their Spanish more fluently and will have a greater understanding of the Spanish way of life. The course attempts to improve students’ understanding of the linguistic and extralinguistic structures in Spanish so they can communicate more effectively.
  • TopAdvanced Spanish
    • This course is designed for students possessing a solid knowledge of the Spanish language and culture and who are able to perform at the communicative level. By the end of the course, students will have gained a wider knowledge of the Spanish culture and will be more proficient expressing their ideas at an abstract level.
  • TopProficient/Superior Spanish
    • This course is designed for those students with a high command of the Spanish language. Special emphasis is placed on improving the student’s oral and writing skills and also in developing a global perspective of the Spanish culture in relation to the student’s particular field of interest.
