Non-credit enrichment classes and institutes

Summer Discovery partners with Penn State University Continuing Studies to offer enrichment classes and institutes. These classes are taught by Penn State faculty and graduate teaching instructors. Class sizes average between 8-20 students and meet Monday-Friday for 1½ - 2 hours.

Enrichment classes and institutes are a great way for you to learn something interesting and develop new skills. Most classes have homework, papers, and/or tests. You will be given written evaluations for each class or institute taken, and you will receive a Summer Discovery “Certificate of Completion” at the end of the program.
